Lucas Fermat was the first to produce a Horizontal Boring Mill's Automatic Tool Changer with a Robotic Tool Changer (You can still get the standard Automatic Tool Changer upon request).
The advantage of the robot is that it can change tools directly into several positions for example into the milling heads spindle support sleeves etc. The Robotic Tool Changer is also low maintenance and allows for the possibility changing higher weight tools. The robot performs fast precise and effective tool changes.
